David Archuleta and Father Jeff  to be on Showbiz Mom's and Dad's or I Know My Kid's a Star.  No not really but apparently David's father has been banned from backstage of American Idol as he is way too hard on his son.  David's father was extremely critical of his son's performance after Stand by Me last week which prompted Idol's producers to ban him from backstage.  This makes David and his father a perfect fit for those shows which depict a jerk parent pushing their kid too hard to be a star. 

Survivor: James wins favorite castaway again and takes home $100,000.  The other similarities on this season are eerie.  Cirie makes it one away from the finals, Amanda makes it to the finals by winning the last challenge and not winning the whole thing, and every challenge was a repeat of a former challenge.  Also, Ozzy and Amanda's relationship is apparently still on and Natalie was fishing for a date from Parvati.  Did she learn nothing about Parvati after two seasons.  Parvati got what she wants and is now through with you. 

In other Survivor news the 17th season will be going back to Africa (it's about time) to a place called Gabon

A new season of American Gladiators debuts tonight with two new gladiators (Rocket and Jet) and new old competitions, from the original that is.  They are doing all new ones as well. This is a show that is only good with the help of Tivo.  I just fast forward to all the challenges, it's the only way this show is tolerable.
